An overview of Lumvoa and what to expect from treatment.

Lumvoa is used to treat TED, an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation and swelling in the tissues around the eyes.

Learn more about TED

Lumvoa is given through an intravenous infusion by a healthcare professional. A full course of treatment is 5 infusions given 3 weeks apart over 12 weeks. Your first infusion takes about 45 minutes, and the other infusions take about 30 minutes each if well tolerated.

In TED, the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks the muscle and fat tissue around the eyes. This can cause swelling, inflammation, and a buildup of tissue around the eyes. Lumvoa is designed to block these signals on cells that play an important role in driving the inflammation and tissue changes seen in TED.* By blocking these signals, inflammation and swelling behind the eyes may decrease and improve symptoms.
